Consultation with Dr. Kyuchukov

Why a consultation?

Our long-term observations show that several types of patients seek a consultation with Dr. Kyuchukov.

  • The first (the most numerous) know about the existence of a problem with the vascular system. They are looking for another opinion, a different approach and modern effective treatment.
  • The second have complaints, without a clear diagnosis so far. They expect a diagnosis of the problem and a proposal for its solution.
  • And the third type of patients (increasing recently) are those who have no complaints, but want to receive an assessment of the condition of their vascular system for the purpose of prevention. They expect to hear the opinion and advice of a specialist in order to stay healthy.

Practice shows that after treatment at the clinic, Dr. Kyuchukov's patients gradually and permanently move into the group of those who only undergo prevention. This is due to the established "Clinic Work Protocol", which is applied and strictly observed by all patients with venous diseases.

How does the consultation with Dr. Kiuchukov proceed?

#1. Conversation
In the initial conversation, the complaints are specified with their characteristics (strength, duration, duration, dependence, symmetry, etc.). We do not perceive the patient as a sick vein, artery, nerve, muscle, etc. And since the human body is an extremely complex and perfect system, it is necessary to clarify the general condition of the patient (comorbidities and their treatment - current medication and alternative therapy, results of invasive and non-invasive examinations, past illnesses, surgical interventions, hereditary predisposition, diet, activity, etc.).

#2. Examination
This is followed by an examination in a standing and/or lying position with partial undressing (only the part of the body that will be examined). Deviations from the norm in the relevant anatomical area are identified through inspection and palpation.
The Doppler examination is performed after the examination and is a painless, ultrasound examination of the vessels of the human body. Depending on the part of the vascular system that is being examined, the patient is in a standing or lying position. The method is highly informative and shows the structure of the vascular wall, the speed and direction of blood flow, as well as existing narrowing and/or blockages of the vessels (thrombosis or embolism).

#3. Doppler examination
For each patient, based on the Doppler examination, a veins map is created, outlining the normal and pathological areas of the venous system of the limbs. This map is particularly important when carrying out treatment and monitoring the patient's condition. It is periodically updated, and the performed manipulations and their results are noted on it. The venous map is part of the protocol for the treatment of venous diseases in the clinic (Dr. Kyuchukov's Venous Protocol).

#4. Results
After completing the examination and the Doppler study, based on the venous map, Dr. Kyuchukov explains in detail to the patient the condition of his venous system (what are the deviations from the norm, why they occurred, what needs to be done and what results are expected). The treatment methods that are most appropriate in the specific case, technical details and features of the specific method, as well as the terms in which the treatment should be carried out and the intervals for control examinations afterwards are discussed with the patient.

What do we expect from you?

And perhaps the most important condition that underlies our work and results is the trust between the doctor (medical team) and the patient. This can be assessed by both parties at the first meeting, and if it does not exist, there is no point in starting any treatment. Because treating a problem is an art and a two-way process in which everyone bears their own responsibility.

Therefore, we can categorically state that our patients are the best patients!
